Employee Stock Ownership Program

In year 2008, CEO and owner Dr. John Steen sold 30 percent of Catheter Research stocks to its employees by forming an employee-stock ownership plan or ESOP. This has enabled the company not only to perform succession planning but also to add a great benefit to attract and retain quality employees as they continue to grow into the future. CRI employees have stated that the ESOP is a great way for them to feel they truly have a stake in the success of the company. With such a response, in December 2010, Dr. Steen sold remaining 70 percent of Catheter Research stocks to the ESOP to make CRI 100% employee owned company.
